Tonight is the appearance of a hunter’s moon and a partial lunar eclipse!  The hunter’s moon is a full moon that appears just after a harvest moon, and is visible shortly after sundown.

Good luck to all the hunter’s, you will have a brighter light tonight if you’re out searching!  The best time to view if you are here in southeast Michigan is around 7:30 p.m.  The eclipse will occur between 5:50 and 9:50 p.m.
